GHB

• Treatment demand for GHB is not increasing further in 2014.
• The number of persons requesting assistance for GHB for the first time is declining.
• GHB use is not exclusively a problem among adolescents.

GHB problems do not yet have a long history in addiction care. GHB related problems have been registered as a separate problem since 2007, although it was found sporadically since the late 1990s. Before 2007 it was registered in the category Other substances. The previously identified growth in the number of people requesting assistance did not continue in 2014
